In 1981, when St Brendan's College for Boys amalgamated with Shaw College for Girls, the St Brendan-Shaw College Library was named after Gavin O'Dea.

You need to have a Libraries Tasmania membership number and password to log in to access online resources. You can apply for Libraries Tasmania membership online, or by visiting your local branch.
The Libraries Tasmania - Magazines and Newspapers page enables access through PressReader, NewsBank and The Age/Sydney Morning Herald to a range of Australian and international newspapers including The Mercury, The Examiner, The Advocate and The Australian.
